20th Habanos Festival: Registration next to begin

The Habanos Festival, the most prestigious event dedicated to Premium Cigars will be held in La Habana from February 26th to March 2nd, 2018. Its 20th Edition, bodes a wide program of activities that combines the knowledge about the Habano and the enjoyment of the latest novelties of Habanos, S.A.

In this 20th edition, the Habanos brands that will play a special leading role will be as follows: Cohiba, the flagship of all Habanos, presenting its first Reserva, Cosecha 2014, and Partagás Línea Maduro with a great acceptance in its first launching on 2015 of which will be launched two new vitolas.

Moreover, the 20th Habanos Festival will include many of the initiatives that have made this annual event famous worldwide and with a great acceptance among the attendees of the Festival over the years, such as: visits to the Vuelta Abajo tobacco plantations, tours to the most famous Habanos factories; lectures and practical sessions within the International Seminar; the “Alianza Habanos” (Alliance with Habanos), the International Habanosommelier contest, and the Habanos World Challenge Contest which will celebrate its first edition in 2018.

The closing of the 20th Habanos Festival will take place on March 2nd, with an evening full of glamour, exclusivity and love for the Habanos. The evening will come to an end with the traditional Humidor’s Auction, which will feature major developments and the proceeds, as is tradition, will go entirely to the Cuban Public Health system.

Registration Procedure

The registration period for the different activities of the 20th Habanos Festival for Exclusive Distributors will be open on the Distributor’s Portal between 2nd to 13th of October.

A quota of places per activity has been assigned to each distributor which will be notified individually trough the email: registrofestival2018@habanos.cu.

As novelties this year, will be the payment method to formalize the registration process for Exclusive Distributors.

The registration option for individual participants, which will have a limited quota as well, will be available online at the end of October.

Every year the interest of participation for the individual participants to The Habano Festival is increasing, without any possibility to be wide the quotas of participation as we have been prioritizing our Exclusive Distributors. Therefore, as a main novelty this year and to give opportunity to the individual participants the payment method to Distributors will be as follows:

Habanos, S.A. will issue an invoice included the quotas assigned and already confirmed by Distributors to make the corresponding payment on December 15th, 2017.

From December 16th, 2017, the remaining quotas will be for individuals, who will be registered online through a tool designed on this occasion and immediate payment method.

The registration for distributors must be carried out exclusively through the Distributor’s Portal.
